PIGEON SHOOTING

A different hunting modality that tests the capabilities of the hunter.

PIGEON SHOOTING

The origin of the shot to the flight was in the shot of pigeon that was understood like an ideal exercise for the practice of the hunting. Originally from England, he quickly gained popularity in Europe in the form of competitions as it can be practiced by people of any age.

The pigeon shooting consists of knocking down a pigeon within a certain enclosure that randomly leaves any of five metal boxes located at a certain distance from the point of fire. The shot on the fly are special shooting methods practiced with shotguns on specially designed courts that meet all the required security.

It consists in bringing down a living or inert target so that it falls inside a certain area. The difference with respect to other shooting disciplines lies in the fact that the trajectory followed by the target will be random and not rectilinear, which makes the shot more difficult and requires quick reflexes by the shooter.
